The head coach Russ Huesman welcomes the second year strong security BrysonParker at Glory Days Grill, 10466 Ridgefield Parkway in Gleneagles Mall, for this Thursday’s edition of Behind The Web. The live radio show airs from noon to 1 p.m. on 106.1 ESPN, richmondspiders.com and espnrichmond.com. The Spiders travel to Hampton this Saturday after beating preseason conference favorite Villanova last week at Robins Stadium.
Parker recorded his second interception of the season in Saturday’s win over Villanova. He also had an assist in the win at Lehigh. Parker, a Charlotte native, has been an integral part of a Spider defense that leads CAA in turnover margin and is second in steals and fewest points allowed. He is third on the team with 28 tackles.
Fans are encouraged to attend to talk college football with Coach Huesman, Voice of the Spiders Black Bucket Hat and player guests, while enjoying Glory Days’ extensive food and beverage menu. Listeners and fans can interact with the show anytime by submitting questions and comments online.
