Alexa Juliana Ard named videographer/producer/editor for Well+Being

We are delighted to announce the promotion of Alexa Juliana Ard to Videographer/Producer/Editor for Well+Being. In this newly created role, Alexa will be a key contributor to the visual presentation of our personal health journalism, story design, and video production, filming and editing for multiple platforms.

Alexa takes on her new role after three years as a video editor working with the Foreign Desk. While abroad, she has been tasked with covering almost every major international story, including the deadly explosion in Beirut, the global response to covid-19, the war in Ukraine and, most recently, the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

Before joining The Post in 2019, Alexa was a national video producer at McClatchy. She was born and raised in Las Vegas, where she grew up playing basketball and working out at a gym frequented by the pros. A torn ACL and three separate meniscus tears ended his dream of playing ball in college. Luckily, she received new ligaments from an elderly cadaver donor, meaning parts of her knee are now 86 years old.

Please join us in congratulating Alexa on her new role. She will begin her new role immediately while completing several long-term overseas assignments.
