74th Emmy Awards Add Talent for Broadcast and Stream Event – Deadline

The Television Academy and NBC have added new talent to 74’s lineupe Emmy Awards, hosted by Kenan Thompson.

The show airs Monday, September 12 on NBC and will be simulcast live on Peacock.

As previously announced, EGOT winner John Legend will perform “Pieces” from his new album Legend for the show’s “in memoriam” segment.

Additionally, Grammy-winning artist Zedd will DJ for the evening and comedian Sam Jay will act as announcer.

The 74e The Emmy Awards, produced by Done+Dusted in association with Hudlin Entertainment and directed by Hamish Hamilton, will air live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Monday, September 12 (8:00-11:00 p.m. ET/5:00-8:00 p.m. PT) on NBC, and will be simulcast live on Peacock.

In an effort to create a more inclusive experience for blind and visually impaired viewers, NBCUniversal will present the full NBC broadcast with live audio description on the Secondary Audio Program Channel (SAP), provided by Descriptive Video Works. The show will be available with additional audio narration describing the rich visuals of the Emmys.
