Starscourge Radahn is easily one of the toughest bosses in Elden Ring, especially now that he’s returned to his usual high damage output following a recent bug fix. There are tons of great strategies for defeating him, but what if you could get Radahn to fight himself.
Well, an Elden Ring player – izuoku_ on Twitter – discovered a way to defeat Radahn with just one of his own moves, as reported IGN. Now, before you scoff at this method and call it “cheese,” who cares? If From Software wanted to strip out the cheesier bits of Elden Ring, it would, but it doesn’t, so go away. Second, you still need to reduce Radahn’s health to 50% for this method to be viable. This is because the move Radahn uses to defeat himself is the one he uses to start the second phase of the fight – the one where he disappears into the sky and crashes into the arena, like a meteor.
As you can see in the video above, you should try to reduce Radahn’s health to 50% while fighting on the outskirts of the arena. When it disappears to start the meteor move, stand at the very edge of the arena – you should be about a foot away from falling into the watery depths below. Now face Radahn in the sky and when he goes down he should crash into the cliff (rather than the actual arena). This will cause him to lose the remaining 50% of his health as he falls to the depths of the nearby ocean below.
