Prime Video subscribers can stream content using the new app for Mac.
Amazon launched a native MacOS app for Amazon Prime Video on Monday. The app, available now on the Mac App Store, allows Prime Video subscribers to Mac devices Stream TV shows and movies through the app or download content to watch offline.
The new app supports Mac OS features including picture in picture and AirPlay. People can choose the preferred video quality for streaming and downloads. The application is compatible with MacOS Big Sur 11.4 Where later.
Prime Video is Amazon’s video streaming service that includes original content as well as movies and TV shows available for rental or purchase. The service is included with a Prime subscription of $ 120 per year, or can be purchased as a standalone service starting at $ 9 per month. Subscribers also have access to Amazon’s range of live sports, including Thursday Night Football and the English Premier League.
